Well first things first, I broke up with my long distance relationship, although it was a mutual thing where no one got hurt. We just both agreed the romance was gone, and that more closer opportunities were in our grasp. We're still friends and I hope we both find a better match for ourselves. Already got one of my eyes on a friend of mine named Rachael, who although isn't looking for a relationship currently, has told me herself that I am a likely choice whenever she is ready to get serious, although knowing how sexy and awesome I am that won't take too long. :rose: *nut punched back to reality*

The most amazing update of all though is that a week ago from this post I discovered this neat cafe/bar called B Sharp that still does open mikes, bands, and other artistic gatherings. You'd think stuff like that would die out due to the internet sucking the life out of the real world (lord knows I get sucked in various times watching youtube or playing League of Legends) and this Monday was going to be even more special, because it was also going to be the first gathering of this new creative writing group filled with writers who lived around my town and most of Washington. When the day started I met loads of people I could relate to the moment I waled it. However I don't remember their names, and while their faces are all locked inside my mind the best way to describe their appearance and personality does not seem to be inside me at the moment, I will probably add those descriptions in later. Although the two writers I most remember, due to their support and tips are Richard Dorsett, a Trapeze artist and writer who after my reading gave me his card and the advice to keep on writing, and Joshua Swainson, a young author who wrote a book called The Tacoma Pill Junkies. Not only did I get a signed poster of the book's cover (I will later get the book from kindle), but when I told him I was going to Tacoma Community later this year he suggested a good starting teacher who could help me improve my writing skills.

As for the open mike, I was one of the first of three to arrive and sign in. I was waiting in anticipation as I learning from the experienced writer's reading their works and enjoying how new and exciting each story, fictional or otherwise was to my ears. Seeing them take the stage with such fearlessness and skill made me a bit nervous and hyped up, but when it got to my turn I managed not only to read my two poems out clearly, but in the end both works ended with a great clamor of cheers and claps. The fact I added a bit of improvised comedy in-between didn't hurt either, and I hope some of those very people who saw my work are here right now and know that I am not only glad that they liked my work, but that their praise and glee has helped me to recognize that this is one of the things I was meant to do for a living in life. Whither as a main career option is still left to be decided, but it's good to know I am not wasting time or energy while doing these tasks. Other then that I am glad to say my days have been well and I hope that to keep on improving and experiencing various forms of life and the graces that come with it despite hardship. I hope everyone who reads this also gets through the day and feel such joys in their own way. Although if that way involves murder, terrorism, or cannibilism, you may need to rethink your ways... just saying. Other then that, let everyone's days be grand and joyous.
